JOB DESCRIPTION
The candidate will provide coordination, on-site training, support, consulting and supervision to IT teachers and students across 4 secondary schools in Akwa Ibom state, to ensure successful knowledge acquisition and transfer for the implementation of the ICT curriculum in the schools.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate the activities of the ICT centres across the 4 secondary schools
- Conduct periodic training impact assessment and skills gap analysis on both teachers and students and develop a workable plan to close identified gaps
- Provide periodic progress report to representatives of the foundation
- Good university degree, minimum of 2nd class lower single/combined honours. (IT professional certification, or a degree in computer science, Engineering or Education not mandatory, but might be an advantage)
- A minimum of 5years post NYSC experience in similar or related position
- Effective teaching and coordination skills
- Proficiency in the following infrastructure areas: Windows NT/2000/XP server operating system, Network Design & Management, Structured Cabling Knowledge, WAN/MAN Management experience.
