Stanbic IBTC a member of the Standard Bank Group is recruiting for the post of Officer, IT Production in Lagos
JOB PURPOSE
Ensure that all work request / incidents logged in Remedy are responded to and resolved within the agreed time frame. Also ensure that calls are escalated and communicated to the required support area and user.
  • To process data by running End of day activities on application systems, take backup of databases, generate reports, print and circulate bank’s Data Centres (Live and DR) management.
  • Provide high level competency with regard to application systems etc

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Development of scripts for data downloads / extractions.
  • Equinox Core, Treasury Module, Trade Finance Support.
  • Development of Reports, customization and maintenance.
  • Run and Support End of day processing & End of month processing e.g. Equinox (Retail), Treasury, Trade Finance, HP&L, MOD etc.
  • Take backup of application databases on Sybase, Oracle, SQL Server, etc on daily basis.
  • Take backup of Bank’s third party applications.
  • Projects support & Implementation.
  • Support Interfacing of external Applications to Equinox Banking software
  • Support on Middle office database (MOD)
  • Investigate system differences in suspense e.g. GL Suspense, Treasury Wip, Trade Finance Suspense etc.
  • Implementation of change request of business applications from the Centre
  • Timely handling of System / Technical Job request logged in remedy e.g. System issues, new report request etc.
  • Weekly Database Maintenance.
Key performance indicators include;
Number of audit exception on Production issues
IT Audit rating by Internal Audit, Routine Control, and external audit
No service impact
Reduced number of incidents
Successful implementations
Internal customer satisfaction level with IT support
Meet deadlines
Meet SLA targets
Ensure that there is no service disruptions at all times.
