Job responsibilities
- To identify potential clients for Transactional Products and Services from non TPS and non Stanbic Ibtc Bank clients
To have a strong outreach to clients with a view of closing sales deals and developing key industry relationships for Transactional Products and Services
To Provide customized product solutions based on an intimate knowledge of existing and future TPS products
Entails effective interaction with all the product houses, thereby ensuring that sales penetration for new business is achieved and handed-over to the Transactional Banker who will maintain client relationship and identify future cross-selling opportunities going forward.
The role requires an intimate understanding of the prospects on a macro and micro level in terms of their Industry and how the company responds strategically to competitive forces and the mapping of company’s operational flows in terms of receipts, payments and liquidity management, to understand where the opportunities are, and thereafter perform an effective sale of TPS solutions to the client.
Key Requirement Areas
- Establishment of good top and middle level relationship with potential TPS clients in order to identify opportunities for TPS solutions.
- Responsible for making sales pitches, presentations and preparation of proposals.
- Effective management of entire sales process
- Understand the current and future needs of the clients from a TPS point of view
- Understand the micro and macro economic factors affecting the clients and apply these insights into the growth and management of the clients
- Ensure TPS profitability across the portfolio of products sold to the clients
- Increase cross-sell ratio for TPS products
- Prepare Client call plans and call reports
- Liaise with Product Management for new product development, enhancements and sale
