Job vacancy for Fixed Income Securities Officer in a leading financial Institution

The Operations division of Stanbic Ibtc Bank is at the very centre of all the bank’s procedures, enabling and optimising our Corporate and Investment Banking activities. We develop prototype concepts into robust, reliable solutions, constantly evolving our existing product range to help the bank maintain a competitive lead with our global clients. We are also in demand as internal consultants to the business, helping to manage the Bank’s assets through effective risk management and control systems. As part of this role we now seek an experienced professional, who will help guide our work to fulfill our ambitious growth strategy.
Responsibilities
To effectively support Global Market Operations functions on Fixed Income Securities transactions with the purpose of providing quality level of operational service in support of Global Market and other business and functional units within Stanbic IBTC Bank
Requirements
A minimum of a 2.1 university degree preferably but not limited to any of the following: B.SC (Economics, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Accounting),
ACI certification
Broad understanding of Global Markets Operation
Understanding of the Bank’s systems, processes and procedures.
Understanding and facilitation of an active change agent role.
Understanding the basics of team dynamics and participation in developing and maintaining a team culture.
Minimum of 1 year banking experience.
Understands and produces documentation to the level expected by the Head, GMO
