Job vacancy for Senior Regional Sales Manager, West

To enhance the Sales volume in the western region, MTN is currently recruiting Senior sales Manager for the western region.
Responsibilities
-Develop and implement strategies in the Region
-Ensure that S&D strategies are fully implemented and operational in the region
-Coordinate the activities of all teams in the region and ensure information and resource sharing to achieve desired regional objectives
-Ensure the achievement of revenue, sales and acquisition target for both voice and data are achieved in line with network capacity
-Ensure effective integration/implementation of channel strategies in the regions
-Ensure effective alignment with Sales Support and the Logistics Operation teams for desired results
-Ensure effective integration of operating units (Sales, Marketing, Network Group etc.) in the region for optimal results.
-Ensure policies, procedures and practices are in place for smooth running of units in the region and manage the implementation of same and review monthly

-Ensure achievement of acquisition target for consumer data products
-Ensure effective market development / penetration in line with network capacity
-Electronic distribution/penetration as a means of driving volume/revenue target
-Ensure sales force development and productivity through excellent sales management
-Ensure territory coverage in terms of sales circle and 95% stock availability and management of recommended retail price (RRP)

Requirements
A first degree in Economics, Business Administration, Commerce or any Social Science degree An MBA will be an added advantage
•At least 12 years work experience comprising:
•At least 10 years sales experience in an FMCG environment, Services industry/Logistics environment
•Five(5) years managerial experience
•Telecoms experience would be an added advantage
