Job vacancy for a Stockbroker in a Financial Institution

A leading financial institution that provides investment services in stock-broking, leasing, trade financing, and portfolio management, amongst others is looking for a stockbroker. Responsibilities

• To buy and sell securities listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange on behalf of clients. 
• Will act as a financial adviser to the clients by making recommendations on whether to buy or sell particular securities. 
• Will ensure best execution prices on all deals and update clients on market sentiment.

Requirements

• A good first degree 
• Must be a licensed Stockbroker with a minimum of 2 years’ requisite experience from a reputable financial institution.
• Must have strong understanding of customer and market dynamics
• Proven leadership ability
• Possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail 
• Confident negotiator
• Strong communication skills in all forms
