As a result of increasing successful exploration activities, an International Oilfield Service Company currently looking to recruit an experienced Drilling Engineer who will provide specialty support deepwater MPD and Secure operations. In addition, this individual will also be able to perform most of the functions of the Regional Engineering Manager, and should be able to provide technical support for other high level CPD projects and assist in client issues with regards to CPD operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Provide technical support for deepwater and other secure drilling applications.
•Design detailed drilling programs and procedures for all MPD operations.
•Conduct client liaison for all technical issues including equipment related issues.
•Assist in training of entry level, level I, II, and III Engineers.
•Engineer to help WFT distinguish itself as the industry leader in offshore managed pressure drilling applications.
•Prepare seminars for customers on managed pressure drilling.
•Actively participate in professional organizations and encourage drilling engineers to participate in technical seminars.
•Interface with R&D and Technical Services to recommend product improvements to meet customer needs.
REQUIREMENTS
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
•3+ years experience in oilfield operations
• Proven industry experience as a drilling engineer
• Must hold IWCF well control certification at supervisor subsea level
