Job vacancy for Manager, Management Information Systems (MIS)

Stanbicibtc Bank a member of the Standard Group is one of the leading banks in Nigeria. They are currently recruiting for Manager, Management Information Systems.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The person will be responsible for creating and managing a central platform for the generation and spooling of data to assist the team with the preparation of management reports and decision making.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Producing accurate and timely information to assist with the preparation of daily, monthly and quarterly reports
• Liaise with IT to ensure that a stable IT platform exists for the spooling of data
• Writing necessary programs/scripts to assist with report preparation
• Financial modelling to assist with report creation
• He will ensure accuracy of information
• Enhanced efficiency in preparation of all reports
• Meeting deadlines to ensure timely Financial reporting, customer communication and staff communication
• Creativity in data generation and problem solving

REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 2 years banking experience with exposure to management information systems and information technology.
• Previous financial Modelling experience would be an advantage
• Advanced computer skills (Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
• Previous experience with Cognos an advantage
• Working knowledge of accounting software. (Knowledge of SAP Equinox will be an advantage.)
